Anaptyx (our other company), established in 2007, is one of the fastest growing wireless integrators in the United States. Having started with a focus on large scale residential/community wireless deployments and growing to cover the Commercial and Municipal sectors as well, we realized that although there were a ton of great manufacturers out there, none of them could properly fill a specific gap in the industry. That is, a low cost, high performance, cloud managed wireless AP. In most cases, a network’s performance is mission critical. However, this requires a multi-radio setup and until now these access points were out of reach with costs as high as $2,500.

This is why we founded A.W.D. (Anaptyx Wireless Dynamics) Using our experience from Anaptyx and the thousands of access points we deployed, we created a product, Anaptyx Mesh, that meets the price/performance ratio required to operate competitively versus wired line deployments whether you are a full scale WISP or an individual with a 2 or 3 access point network. Using a multi-radio setup on one of the most powerful hardware platforms available we are able to deliver speeds which are typically 150-300% faster than the market leading single radio setup, especially over multiple hops.
